Pumping gas at the gas station.a black guy and 4 non black dudes pull up in a SUV. Everything is cool we're talking about sports and the up coming football season. I noticed the four non black guys he was with we're constantly using the word niqqa during our conversation. I told them "out of respect can you not use that word."one of them said"we say it around him all the time".my response was" I was raised different from him so don't expect me to accept that word being tossed around."

Got in my car left.

Some black men will accept certain things and others won't. I understand the power of words and identity. Many black men don't. I can call you a niqqa and its cool but if I call you a African the first thing you will say is" I never been to Africa, don't call me that"

That's a colonized mind.

A colonized mind cannot see how backwards that logic is.

I can call you a niqqa but not a African.

It kinda depends, if you close with someone then race can be transcended but a random dude calling you nikka isn't acceptable.
