That's about 30 years from now.
-I know some people say that pro wrestling is dying, but this version of "worked fighting" has been around since the late 1800s at least, so I'd like to think it will still be around 30 years from now.
-Will WWE be sold to NBC Universal? Disney? Saudis? Tony Khan's family? Despite who the owners are, will a McMahon or HHH family member still be in control as a figure-head (similar to a Dana White/UFC-type deal)?
-Will there be professional ESports leagues where fans compete in tournaments as the wrestlers (similar to the big call of duty ESports leagues)?
-Since everyone knows that wrestling is scripted/not real, will society be less harsh on wrestlers and allow them more flexibility with their characters (i.e. the human playing the role of the sexist and racist undefeated champion is just playing a role, and shouldn't be judged, in the same way that J.K. Simmons can play a Nazi prison gang leader in one show, and J. Jonah Jameson in another movie, and not be judged for it. I think it will allow for a wider range of subject matter that can be covered.
-Will Lucha Underground-type storytelling become the norm?
-Will a regular show be 50% live matches and 50% cinematic matches?
What if anything will be different 30 years from now?
