I agree that the situation appears to be hopeless. They keep pushing interracial and gay couples in the media.
Last week, I watched the award-winning "San Junipero" episode of Black Mirror and it was promoting both the interracial and gay lifestyles.
BTW, the episode was trash and I wasted 40 mins of my life
This is when I knew for a fact that the black family becoming mainstream again will need something close to a miracle.

i disagree with you to a extant though I agree with the part about money but not education since being educated means to have a asset developedthrough a teacher since knowledge is boundless it's not necessarily education because if you know something for yourself (let's say you taught yourself to professionally weld on your own) then your knowledge is just as resourceful as the educated breh when it comes down to practical use.
So yes while we are in toxic environments, these environments were purposely established in such a order that was manipulated against us brother so the image of a strong black family IS FIRST before materialism cultural because if you take everything away again, we are all we have. Remember in Lbya them arabs would snatch us up right now for 800 a piece "TWO KAFFIRS 4 SALE!" and take our young daughters/sisters/wifeys for a even higher bidding price. It's sickening to think that you rather value the material culture that placed us to be valued as goods instead of us as individuals who make up the african diaspora.
