I felt like Muggs did a great RZA impression on this album, GZA needed this type of sound. My only complaint was the lack of Wu features and the fact GZA changed the pitch of his voice
Honestly at the time I remember being a little bit letdown by it, but I should really listen again because I'm sure I slept on it and would really like it in hindsight.
Saw him and Muggs do the album live from BB Kings years ago. The energy was off the charts. The entire front of the stage, was all drunk white girls who knew every lyric to every track.
One of the craziest and most enjoyable shows Ive ever been too.
Should have been a classic on paper. But by then, I had to accept most of the rappers and producers I idolized in the 90’s just weren’t going to replicate those highs anymore. So… it was what it was… cool.
