What was the reason Rondo was left off the Olympic team?

Say what u want Rondo has come a long way with his shot. It's not Ray Allen's but he damn sure was nailing jumpers in that Miami series. And wasn't scared to shoot them wide open or not. And to me that was the biggest part of his shooting defiency, actually being confident enough to shoot the J. But with that said i would still take CP3 and Deron over him all day.

Do yall nikkas argue about Rondo vs CP3/DWill every other damn day?

The nikka is good enough that he coulda taken either CP3 or DWills spot(and i guarantee that if either had gone down like Blake, he would have been asked to step in) and considering he got farther in the playoffs this year than either AND was ballin in the process i'm a bit shocked he was left off. Its already been said tho, he got left off basically for being an a$$hole who seems to do shyt his way vs listening to others. No coach wants that kind of bickering and headache. Imo Rondo is alot like Ron Artest, alot of talent but also prone to fits and outbursts. nikka is a ticking timebomb and just like Artest he gonna go off sooner or later.

Matter fact, Rondo has never even been the best player on his own damn team.

Maybe this year he'll take that step but for now it's still Garnett. They win because of his Defense

nikkas comparing Shaq's dominance to Rondo's
nikkas saying he gets to the rim with ease like almost every PG doesn't. not to add to the fact but he doesn't get picked up until the ft line
nikkas talking bout rebounds for the PG position when PGs aint supposed to be in the paint in the beginning to get boards
nikkas talking bout his team goin further in the offs than cp3 when Bos had the easier road

Yu guys act like CP3 and D-Will are by far better players,when it's closer than yall think. offense is only half the game. Rondo's defense is at a whole other level compare to those two. I understand CP3 is a very good defender but nobody is seeing Rondo's D.

Unique skillset, constantly creating open looks, in a league with absurd athletes he manages to get to the bucket with relative ease. Phenomenal defender.

I just like his game. Im not going to get pissed if you think Paul is better....but the only team that really gave the Heat a series was Boston and Rondo was the biggest reason for that imo

Dude yu bringing up series where the teams that lost were already inferior to the other team in the first place. That shouldnt take anything away from how Rondo's D impacts a game. In the playoffs it all comes down to what you make out of ur possessions, and when you got a nikka like Rondo D'ing perimeter players up, and disrupting passing lanes, it makes it very difficult to win games. Which is why they have always been able to get far in the playoffs.
