So someone posted this match in another thread and while watching it, I peeped the commentary. They talk about how Paul Bearer had an affair with a woman at the funeral home and the woman turned out to be Taker's mother who bore Kane.

Then they discuss the urn, how it gives Taker his powers, and what's in it. They kind of make it sound like a MacGuffin....the way Marcellus Wallace's briefcase was in "Pulp Fiction". Someone questions whether it holds the ashes of Kane/Taker's mother or the ashes of people Taker has killed in the past. :whew:

What the hell IS supposed to be in that thing? I think someone said at the end of the Raw thread that Punk spilling the contents of the urn on Taker was supposed to imply that he was dumping the ashed remains of Paul Bearer onto the Taker but then at what point were we to assume that Paul was cremated and put into that urn? :ohhh:

Punk DID seem to make hints toward that idea leading up to this match but who really knows? Is this ever addressed? :ld:

I don't want anyone to OVER-think it but what do you figure was in that damn urn all these years? :notsure:

yes when Punk did that little did he know that he was sealing his own doom, the ashes indeed were from the lost souls The Undertaker has taken over many years and by CM Punk dumping the ashes on to Taker gives him more strength and power. THE STREAK LIVES ON!!!!!!

:wtf: did they bring back the urn for?
Everybody knows the original urn was stolen by Kama (the Supreme Fighting Machine), melted and transformed into a gold chain.
Getting rid of the urn made the Undertaker into a much more interesting character after this.
