I stopped watching wrestling at this point when Eric came back. Was watching some documentary about Stone cold when they talked about this. So wat was his run like? was it succesful? why did they end it so quick like stone cold said? Did Eric have creative control at all or was he just a character?

from what i remember, and I didnt really watch much at the time...

He was the Raw GM, obviously a heel and would feud with the top faces. I think they brought him in to have that OH shyt moment rather than do something worthwhile. But like I said, I watched on and off around that time :manny:

I liked his run.

Dude introduced "THE ELIMINATION CHAMBER!" had some good moments with Stephanie and he always killed it with that "Did somebody say...three minutes? :hmm:"

Rosay and Jamal were the original Shield in a way, them dudes did not care. They jumped women too.

Another thing about his run was the fact that him and Stephanie treated Raw and Smackdown pretty much like 2 different companies. They'd go crazy if somebody from their show showed up on the other show. Then they'd do trades and stuff too. Used to be interesting and funny when Eric and Steph interacted about their brands.

Eric sees Stephanie backstage on his show: "The hell you doing on Raw? :aicmon:"

Stephanie: "Just scouting Eric...just scouting."

Eric: "GET THE HELL OFF MY SHOW!"

Stephanie: "Sure I'll leave..."

*Next week somebody from the Raw roster jumps ship*

Eric: :beli:

Stephanie: :umad:

Me at home:

As a Heel GM he was good, but obiviously Coke Boy wasn't gonna let him be in charge of shyt backstage. Eric was an a$$hole character you wanna see get the paws put on him occassionally.

I also remember before it got hip to throw unwanted trash in the bushes, Coke Boy tossed Bischoff in the garbage truck:

Knowing the real-life background of the relationship between McMahon and Bischoff made it interesting.

They used to hate each other. Bischoff was legit obsessed with being known as the man who put Vince out of business, so watching him willingly participating in a storyline where he worked for Vince, even kayfabe, was different.

You know Vince loved that. :smugdraper:
