Fukkin Black Barbie
The dystopian society is a very popular trope in film.If the country (or world) was headed towards one which would you say is most realistic?
Hunger Games:The country is split into districts, children are forced to murder each other on national broadcasts for entertainment and to teach possible rebels not to step out of line.
1984:Thought police, propaganda, national surveillance with an omnipresent government. At any time you can be taken from your home and subject to torture and reprogramming.
Blade Runner:Corporate runs the world.Everything you can do could be done better by a machine.
Terminator:The machines are aware and want to kill you.
Fahrenheit 451:Book burning censorship
Of course there are others I haven’t mentioned (Running Man,Animal Farm,Battle Royale,Handmaiden’s Tale,Man in High Castle, etc) but which would you find most realistic? Maybe a combination or any of them?
