I ask this because I live in the Chicagoland area and it got me to thinking about how I listen to Tom Waddle every day at work. He was mostly average when he played but he only played for the Bears for five years and didn't start all games and his highest yard total for a season is 674, but he is a folk hero in these parts. Maybe due to the fact that he probably suffered multiple concussions in the same game and they just kept hooking him up with the smelling salts. Dude used to take some hits across the middle of the field, I can acknowledge that.

My other player is Stacey King. Out of 313 games with the Bulls, he only started in 23 of those games, yet he is normally found getting his Ahmad Rashad on ala Michael Jordan with Derrick Rose on Comcast Sports in Chicago. Too Big, Too Fast, Too Strong, Too Good then the Ric Flair Wooooo.

Just curious to see what other response are.
