What qualifies as a Legend in Hip-Hop?

I ask this question because I think it's overused in hip-hop today. For example, I see guys specifically on the east coast call Jadakiss , Joe Budden and Stack Bundles. The same with guys like Soulja Slim, Camouflage, Z-Ro, and C-Murder. In my opinion, none of these guys are Legends in this rap game.

As much as I love Pac, the Outlaws aint no legends in this game. They might have been around one and been on some legendary songs but I can't put them in the same category as UGK, Three 6, Naughty By Nature, Public Enemy, De La Soul, and the rest.

So my question is, What makes a legend in hip-hop?

Jadakiss is a legend.... he's a consistent spitter... and he had alot of influence when Lox was killin them dj Clue tapes... they changed the Ny mixtape scene

Yeah, Jada is a consistent spitter but his discography is trash. The 2nd Lox album is his best work. How are you considered a Legend with no discography? Jada didn't have a impact on anything outside of NY. Dude is a local legend, no different from the guys at the Rucker basketball park who been playing for 10 years.

That makes no sense what so ever. 50 really changed the game, all outlaws can say they did songs with Pac. Alot of people did song with Pac. I guess Lil cease is a legend too, since he did songs with Big.
