What public black figures refused to be turncoats (snitches) on the black community?

Below is a video of Malcolm X being interviewed by the FBI. Malcolm hid a recorder under his couch, as he thought he had to take precaution against two white men turning up at his house.

They ask him for information on the black muslims, promise him rewards etc. Makes me wonder how many rappers would turn down offers from white men in suits to influence a use of a new drug that they just flooded into the western nations (molly) in return for "riches". :lupe:

Here's the video.

This thread was inspired by @Nino Brown, keeping with the theme of the road. If you recall the film New Jack City you'll recall Nino Brown was in fact a turn coat and ratter out on the whole squad for a plea bargain.

I do ponder on how Nino Brown became such an icon to the black community (me included) considering he was a snitch however the manner in which Wesley Snipes portrayed the role made Nino's character remarkably endearing despite his many ethical faults. Wesley snipes has portrayed similar anti-hero roles in Demolition Man and Blade, his acting skills allow him to to create a menacing presence that is has an elevated level of intimidation (similar to his first role in MJ Bad).

This is the thread by @Nino Brown worth a read if you have a minute. The thread has a very interesting concept, when you watch Vlads videos you can see he emulates that role with such effects as the dark background and low tone similar to .

"Imagining Vlad as a hip hop police interrogator makes his interviews more interesting"
