What % of Your Pre-Tax income do you spend on rent/mortgage in what state you live

Bout to get a new apartment and was wondering what everyone else spends on living. I currently spend 13% which is low but really want a spot that's 21% just scared ima have to cut back too many other areas

mortgage includes prop tax, i am a small business owner so it varies but id say roughly 35%

Ive been told you shouldnt spend more than 40% so i dont think you have to worry about 21%.

you should make a list of your monthly expenses and figure out how much that is to help you make a decision.

I have made that list and can't decide what the fick to do just went and toured it again it got a balcony over looking the pool but I could use that extra 300 a month to fukk around with
