What non-superhero comic should be the next movie? TV show?

I'm going with Scalped as my top choice. I know it was going to be on WGN, but since WGN has cancelled everything and is changing strategy, I would have to assume that is inevitably going to get axed, again. Would be groundbreaking if they stuck with the all Native American cast like ti was going to be.

Essex County could be interesting as a movie. Not long enough for a TV show and probably wouldn't capture people's attention enough for a TV show.

Alex and Ada could be interesting as well, but that might too closely resemble Humans on AMC.

DMZ would be a fitting one in this chaotic political environment.

Lumberjanes

Paper Girls - could do well right now given how Stranger Things has excelled

Saga - probably would have to be a film franchise given how much it likely would have to cost

Personally I've never really considered THE SPECTRE a superhero...
He'd make a great rated R film. I love the Jim Corrigan version but the brotha, Detective Allen, was a lot nastier with dispensing justice.:whew:

I'd make this film straight horror.

100 Bullets should have been an HBO show YEARS ago. It's the most easily adaptable comic for a television series.

American Gods had shown me that it's possible for a Sandman series to be done properly on Television.

Sweet Tooth could be great on AMC.

Locke and Key on Netflix might be dope. Gotta stick to the actual ending though
