...to make all those delusional stupid racist primitive nikkas finally admit that he's one of the worst presidents in modern history and that him being black doesn't help anything/anyone no more than it would help if he was green with polka dots.

Well I'm not that naive to actually sit here and type about a "good n honest" president, that's almost dumb as writing about "this new beneficial crack recipe"

But just off the strength of his presidential run, hype, promises and overall lies he sold us with his "look at me all young, hip and completely different" is just scusting.

You motherfukkers KNEW what to expect outta Bush, you see it in his eyes, look at Reagan, look at them, you KNOW what they're up to....and it ain't free glass of milk and lorna doones for everybody, that's for sure.

Obama played "the guy next door trying to help common people + im a ******" card.

Look at him now. Broken every promise given, lied about everything, just straight up fraud ass.

:comeon: one of the worst breh...really? Look I dont support Obama, IMO I think he is a sucker. He spent his whole first term thinking he could make peace with the Republicans. I don't rock with George W. Bush at all but the thing I respect about him is he did whatever the fukk he wanted to do...PERIOD. Yeah he fukked the country all the way up...yeah he gave his rich friends all kinds of tax breaks and handouts, that what he wanted to do and didn't give a fukk what anyone else thought. That's why I think Obama is a sucker cuz u can't make peace with the other side. They will do anything including run this country to the ground just to get back in office. So in the process all the promises he made while campaigning...the shyt I voted for never got passed or we got some BS watered down version.

With all that said considering where he started from and being that the republicans pretty much blocked anything and everything they could I gotta give him alil respect. His first term was pretty bad but not bc he was personally bad, its bc the political climate is one where it was nearly impossible to get anything done...and he don't have the balls to just do what he wants to.

Considering that the first article of the Constitution is the legislature, I don't see how I can fully fault any president (even Dubya). The founding fathers, despite their checks & balances approach, placed Congress first in the document for a reason. However, Obama has been playing far too nice (see last summer's Debt Ceiling debacle). You can't expect bipartisanship with the side whose sole mission is to get you out of office By any means necessary.

He's no worse than any other politician

Yup. It was kind of funny to watch people get so carried away when he first came on the scene, people really don't learn. :rudy:

Rule One of Politics - NEVER trust a politician, and trust them even less when there is an election on the way.

In saying that, American politics is broken, which isn't Obama's fault and can't be solved by him.

People don't understand this - they don't understand that politicians are heavily constrained by other variables and have limited power to influence the workd around them. Of course politicians can't admit this, they would rather lie and break promises then say they are impotent.

Basically its an unspoken contradiction within the heart of democratic politics - the public votes people into power to act on their behalf unaware that politicians are largely unable to do this. So the voting public has unrealistic expectations and politicians compensate with lies, false promises and cynicism, lest they get found out. This seems to be a particular problem in America for cultural reasons - Americans seem to have a warped view of politicians and in particular their President.

And btw the trend in world politics is increasingly against politicians and governments having power - both entities are becoming less and less influential, particularly in the area of national economies.

It really speaks to how the populace at larger is very uninformed about the political process and not adept at adequately analyzing phenomenon. Add to the fact that we are obsessed with instant gratification. As a result, the populace at large really blames individual politicians (in this case presidents) for things that required complicity within all branches of the government. But don't tell them that :obama:

On balance he kept most of his promises which considering the resistance isnt bad.
PolitiFact | The Obameter: Tracking Obama's Campaign Promises
You cant pass any progressive legislation even with a majority is that you have to deal with dems like Joe Donnelly
Joe Donnelly, the Democrat in the Indiana Senate race, is a winner today, too - She The People - The Washington Post
A pro-gun, pro-life, pro-Keystone pipeline, anti-illegal immigration and anti-climate change legislation Blue Dog, Donnelly has a lot in common with Lugar, especially as someone who sees working across the aisle as the only way to get anything done: “I hear from everybody, and they say ‘Joe, nowhere but in Washington do they think not working together makes sense.’ We’re not hired to fight. My question about everything I do is, does it make our country stronger?’’

The longtime owner of a small printing business, Donnelly ran ads distancing himself from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi in ’10 – and even won the NRA endorsement over his conservative Republican opponent, Jackie Walorski, who is running again this year.

The people who have the pro-gun, pro-life....etc profile are the most passionate voters so even the dems have to cater to them in many parts of the country. If there was a law that made voting mandatory you would see less bludedogs dems and more moderate republicans but as things are the shift toward tea party America is being driven by the crazies.

People really overestimate how much power the president has.

I'm not even really an Obama supporter, but what the fukk is he supposed to do when Congress auto-blocks everything? If anything, you should be mad at Congress. In any case, saying he's worse than (either) Bush is pretty delusional.
