Guess I'm kinda following up from that educational level thread I made a while back, but apparently like 80%+ of people in here have a Bachelor's degree or higher, and we got quite a few people with Master's Degrees too. Even a couple of Ivy Leaguers. So assuming people are being honest, we have a pretty academically talented crowd. I'm just curious to see what type of backgrounds people here have.
Personally I went to a public school, tho it was magnet school that you had to take a test to get in (I don't remember it being that hard tho).
But I didn't really care about grades in high school, I was too lazy to bother with work most of the time, I basically just did enough to pass.
Only graduated with a 2.9 GPA
No extracurriculars either. Made it into a decent school strictly off test scores...1300 SAT (when it was out of 1600) and high 20s (25 the first time, then 29 the second time) ACT.
Sucks tho...if I was less lazy and had bothered to keep my grades up, I probably could've gotten a scholarship and wouldn't be stuck paying these loans back.
