What Is Your Ultimate Goal As A Producer / Beat Maker?

Do you just do it as a hobby? Are you trying to get associated with an up-and-coming act that eventually breaks? Are you trying to win a Grammy and become a millionaire? Is it merely a creative outlet?

There are no wrong answers.

All I know is I moved in May and haven't had my equipment shipped yet, and I am shaking like a fiend. Because I have no musical outlet to create, I have found myself writing a lot more. It's funny.

Point is: I definitely need this as a creative outlet. Although, as some of you know, I am trying to make this part of my career and how I make a living – but it is interesting to know that I have a connection with this music on a spiritual and emotional level.

Pretty much same for me, I'm just happy to hear like minded people say my shyts dope, that's good enough for me.
Wouldn't say I have zero interest in industry dealings but I'm certainly not chasing it.
I do want to get a beat store online soon though.

My hobby once fulfilled is to be able to turn on the mpc...bang out a dope drum pattern then pick up my guitar and go off...or even start sampling again.

Then probably just spend my days putting music videos on YouTube. ..like tekbeats or this dude I subscribe to hillprop97 (seriously check him out, he uses sp404, mpcs, maschines..dude make pretty quality beats...tons of videos too)

all i care about is finding records and making beats i like. when i put together a beat tape that i'll play in the car by myself then i'm content. at some point, send some beats to underground dudes i fukk with but thats really it.

My main goal is to be the best in what i do , same goal since day one when i was trying to figure out how to use a daam kick and snare in fl studio 10 . May never happen but i think its good to have high expectation in anything you do , it may help you push your limits to the maximum . I was trippin tellin my homie id make it big with this music thing and they be like Now they listen to my beats like you did this ?
