I just watched the Designer interview video, and I'm honestly wondering what the fukk is wrong with this man?
Other than his cringe-worthy constant attempts to mix AAVE in with his heavy English accent, him making half-coherent hype-man comments, and his seemingly constant dikkriding of whoever is on the show, he just seems "off". How did we let this man get so big in hip-hop?

Tim put in WORK when it came to getting acts over to the UK in the 90's. He'd be putting on a night, and then randomly Ghost and Rae would show up and perform. Plus the Rap Exchange with Flex solidified him as the plug.

His jams at Notting Hill Carnival were legendary. 97 alone was Jay, Busta, Lil Kim, EPMD (with a Redman cameo), Common, De La, Beenie Man and a gang of UK cats. In one afternoon. And it was always free.
I remember being there in 95 when he stopped the record and said "All the White people go to the back of the crowd" , hit the airhorn and started the record from the top again. Still to me.

With that said - he tries way too hard and he's been off for years.
