I often hear this " phrase" and wondered who came up with this shyt? Not that anything is wrong but you can say that about lots of sports loving cities..... Why is NYC the reference point lol sounds like some stuff made up by an old ass baseball fan at a bar in the 70s and some local columnist ran with it lol

I don't think I've ever heard this before. In fact I've always been told that as a NYer I know nothing about anything involving sports especially since I'm a Yankee fan.
