What is the worst wrestling game you've ever played?

I'm going to have to say WCW Backstage Assault. I just remember a preview in either GamePro or EGM talking about how this would revolutionize wrestling games, and the developers were talking about how wrestling games were ready to leave the ring behind and move into the 21st century and all sorts of marketing bullshyt.

Honorable mention to Wrestlemania 21 for xbox and the TNA game. Actually Wrestlemania 21 may have been worse than Backstage Assault, I just remember the absurd concept of a wrestling game with no ring better.

I think it was. Smackdown vs raw 2008. They stripped Gm mode that year. Then took it out next game

nah fam. the way you could mutate and distort the CAW's in that game to the point of even nonsymmetrical limbs? I had guys out there looking like a t-rex . I can't hate on a game that allowed that

Those ECW games and the backyard wrestling one were pretty terrible. Nitro and Thunder sucked bad as well.

GM mode was gone, which was my favorite part

WWE'12 off the strength of that story mode alone. The actual story was cool but killing time until action sequences sucked
