As for movies if you're making a thread that recommends people to watch a certain film spoiler tags should be used. If it's a discussion about that movie then no spoiler tags.

Anything about a tv show that hasn't aired or info on a film that hasn't been released should be tagged for sure.

How about not spoiling anything. Shows or movies. Not everyone has seen everything. If its a discussion about the show or movie then its acceptable that only those who have seen it will participate. But he courteous.
