We all know their legendary history. Rudy, Rockne, Touchdown Jesus, the whole 9. However they appear to be in serious limbo.

Since Brian Kelly took over from Charlie Weis's abomination, they've been inconsistent. 2012 they had a storybook run that got crumpled up, pissed on, and thrown on the Canal Street train tracks by the Alabama Crimson Death Machine.

2013 & 2014 were acated, then 2015 comes, they go 10-2 then get ass slammed by Zeke GOATliott & tOSU:martin:

2016 they go 4-8:what:However, if you look at it they REALLY could have gone 8-4 or 9-3 if it wasn't for key 4th quarter mistakes.

Last year they went 9-3, which really should've been 10-2 as they were smashing UGA the entire game up until the last 3 minutes. They then went to the Citrus Bowl & defeated a dejected LSU squad.

With that being said, what now?:jbhmm:

If you look at ND, they have:

-Arguably the largest fanbase in America
-Amazing stadium atmosphere on gameday, even when they're away, as their fans stretch far & wide and are known to travel
-LITERALLY EVERY GAME IS BROADCAST NATIONALLY ON NBC
-Amazing facilities
-Great uniforms
-Notre Dame gives them an EXCELLENT education

However, they're only ranked 11th in the nation:why: A school of Notre Dame's caliber should be top 3:why:

What in tarnation???? Is it ND's coaching staff? The girls on campus are ugly? Or is it something else? This is unacceptable :why:

their schedule is hard as fukk because theyre independent. they need a miracle run or to join a conference (will never happen) to have a shot at a championship. #11 is a fair ranking considering that i think.
not sure what notre dames education has to do with their level of play.
oh an no fukkin way do they have the biggest fanbase. that may have been true back in the day cause it was the GOAT catholic school but now some huge school like OSU or penn state has the biggest fanbase.

Being independent fukks up there schedule. They have 5 ranked teams on there schedule right. It's not that they have the hardest schedule but that they play enough good teams from different conferences with different styles that somebody's gonna get them every year if their recruiting isn't top notch which it hasn't been. If your OSU, FSU or Bama you already now how your conference plays you only gotta prepare extra for that 1 or 2 games out of conference against an elite team.

nah, their alumni base spreads worldwide breh, like a 120k deep. There's a reason they can go play anywhere and have a sizeable local crowd on top of their boosters having deep pockets (see John Jordan). Name another school that can go to Ireland to play a game
