Can you back up your WhatsApp chats, text messages, media, etc to a cloud? Is it secure and does it work across all Androids? Thinking of copping the Note 10 when it drops, let me know, brehskis

You mean Google Drive?
if you on a samsung, their cloud shyt auto backups stuff as well after you set it up...I personally have my dropbox synced to back up most stuff

eh, not as seamless as it could be. google's backups are a little more seamless
Nah. Drive is like cloud storage for documents sorta like OneDrive. App data is linked to the account you set up for the phone. If you get a new phone then you just use that account and your apps, logins, contacts etc will show up on your new phone. Messages and photos are probably the only two that you have to manually set up to back up.
Google photos saves your pics and media. Contacts are saved on your google account if you select it when adding them. Don't know about text messages. But your apps save on your account just gotta redownload them when switching phones. They do have this smart switch app on samsung phones that transfers stuff from old ones to new. Note 10 will likely have an sd card slot as well and you can set it to have your pics saved on there. i got a 128gb card on mine with not even half being used up so thats a crucial and added bonus.

I wish I knew i lost 7yrs of data and photos last night over 6,000 pics both my sons birth pics and everything.. SD card not reading in phone if the comp hook up don't work i'mma be fukked
