Yankees vs Indians doubleheader.
Dominican fans were going wild in the Bronx for Manny Ramirez with drums and flags all game long.
Mike Stanley hit 3 homers in the first game.
We still lost. Indians scored 5 runs in the top of the 9th...largely off a monster triple by Kenny Lofton. Final score 10-9.
In the night game I saw Darryl Strawberry hit one of the hardest homers I’ve ever seen in person.
We lost that game too.

Tiger Woods at the Masters. The silence is DEAFENING. The atmosphere is so silently ELECTRIC when he arrives to a teebox and is about to hit a shot. I can't even explain it. I never knew something so quiet could feel so powerful and electric.

That was in the middle of ND's miracle run to start that season. I still can't believe Charles Rogers caught that TD with like a minute left. At the stadium, it looked like Smoker was throwing the ball away.

- July 15, 2015: Trinidad & Tobago 4, Mexico 4 (CONCACAF Gold Cup- Charlotte, NC)- Game was 1-0 at halftime, then 7 goals in the second half. Mostly Mexico crowd goes crazy during comeback, throwing trash on field and at players in celebration. T&T scores on last play on the game for the tie. Atmosphere was crazy all night
-June 14, 2006: Edmonton 4, Carolina 3 (OT) (Stanley Cup Finals, Game 5- Raleigh, NC)- Hurricanes were up 3-1 with the chance to win the cup at home, but lost in OT. The whole 3rd period and Overtime, the whole crowd is on the edge waiting for the Cup winning goal to celebrate, but Edmonton won. Crowd was hype for over 3 hours. No one left before the OT period.
-April 2, 2006: Wrestlemania 22 (Rosemont Horizon, Chicago, IL)- My first Wrestlemania in person. Hype because this was in a regular arena so the crowd noise made it feel like bigger event then ones in stadiums.
-April 3, 2015: Golden State 107, Phoenix 106 (Oracle Arena- Oakland, CA)- The crowd in Oracle is real. Def the loudest arena in the league. Game was close all through the 4th quarter. Harrison Barnes hits a last second runner to win the game, and roof comes off in celebration.
