I don't see how being available "online 24/7" is reasonable for any job. They're not hiring robots.

And they have to buy all their own equipment? That law firm can't shell the tax-deductible cash?

No wonder the Great Resignation is still happening. The employers behave like they hate poorer people by default.

The rest of it does seem somewhat reasonable though.

I’ve been on call 24/7 and wasn’t getting paid anywhere near what these guys are getting paid.

I see nothing wrong with it.

I don’t want no parts of a company like that. There’s plenty of money to be had out there without that kind of work culture.

But I’m in IT, maybe that law firm culture hits differently.
