About this time every year I like to go through my personal collection and line up my Netflix queue so that I'm mostly watching horror movies for the next two months. Does anyone else do the same? What are some of your must-see movies every Halloween season and if you're home on Halloween, what would you be watching?
I always run though the Universal Monster movies. I may not get to every one, but I usually like to make sure I hit up Dracula, Frankenstein, Bride of Frankenstein, Son of Frankenstein, House of Frankenstein and House of Dracula. Probably gonna throw in a few Friday the 13ths, Halloweens, Phantasm I & II (haven't seen either in years), some Romero zombies and Hammer horror from my own collection.
From Netflix, the Creature from the Black Lagoon trilogy (if I don't buy the Legacy re-release), The Undying Monster, the '43 remake of Phantom of the Opera and the Zombi series.
I'm planning to be off on Halloween so I can keep Turner Classic Movies in the background all day long. Probably will flip around to see whatever SyFy and AMC are showing as well. As you can tell, I'm big into classic horror.
