I want to do something a bit different. Instead of next season going from thread to thread upping shyt like I'm Gil-Scott. Ima make this easy and concise. What happens to his career? Is it game over already? Is this a Kobe/Harden like rookie season with a side dish of twitter clips? Where yall at?

It’s impossible to tell because we’ve never seen a mental/technical breakdown in the nba like we saw with Fultz and his game.

Maybe he gets over it and becomes a really good player or maybe he’s mentally fragile and something like this ruins his career. There’s just no way to tell yet.

He was hurt/not hurt or whatever the case was,and changed his shooting ways. Hopefully during the summer he fixes his issues. His rookie year is a bust, but you can't judge no career after a season...a rookie one at that

I voted star :manny:
Even though he only played a little bit & his jumper is obviously wonky, he still showed a lot of flashes in the little he played. He's bigger & a lil more athletic than I thought too. I think he'll get his jumper together & be a good player :ehh:

Philly bouls, Trust the Process
I still think Markelle will pan out. I picked star, if it comes back together he could still be a superstar. The chance of bust is obvious as well though :manny:

He played very well once he returned in the regular season

Still has a good handle, still very shifty and hard to cover, still has an array of moves around the rim with spins, reverses, floaters, etc.

Still has crazy physical gifts. Great speed, covers a ton of ground, amazing body control, can really elevate and with ease, tall w/long arms, pretty strong

Combine the two with his creativity with the ball and he could get anywhere he wanted on the floor which really impressed me. When you know that he's not going to shoot the 3 or anything off the catch it's really easy to contain a guy. The fact that defenses knew this about him and still couldn't stop him from getting to his spots is really impressive and shows how talented he is.

Vision on the move was excellent. 9.4apg/36 to 2.2topg/36 since he returned, 4.3 A:TO. Prodigious talent in the PnR as a scorer and passer :banderas:

Moved well without the ball, and played really good defense. Can cover multiple positions, and forced a ton of turnovers. Gets chase down blocks.

Still only 19 years old.

Don't sleep on Markelle :birdman:

I played safe by putting starter. Only because I'm not sure about his jumper, and given that he's in Philly they can manage with one non-shooter in Simmons for the near future but not sure with two. Other than that he's taller and more athletic than I initially thought, and has good speed, and sometimes he plays at a slower pace but still gets where he wants.

Contrary to what I thought earlier in the season I'm not too worried about the mental aspect. When he came back he looked to attack, and tbh I thought that him injuring Embiid on a freak play would crush him, but he ended up having good games.

I still think it was a mistake not to play him during the playoffs though, he needs all the experience he can get and I think he could've contributed in attacking the rim against the Celtics.

:ehh: liking some of the responses so far.

I obviously voted star. I never watched as much of a prospect coming into the league as I did with this dude. I was/am 100% convinced he's the next in line among the iso I don't give a fk about your defense type scoring stars. I can't jump off the wagon off of 14 games and some twitter clips.
