Soundcloud deleted their page because they played too many songs on their podcast. Lol. They're looking for a new place now.

They have a lot of episodes on here tho

i've got most if not all their old shyt anyway, saved them from back in the day when i started listening, this is exactly why i don't like streaming. glad i have the old shyt and even though i bytch and moan every tiome a new ep comes out i do still look forward to them in case they get their shyt together.

Damn, I was wondering when Soundcloud would shut them down. They had the episode where they were playing random songs with Laura Styles a few months back. It was actually one of my favorite episodes.

Soundcloud aint no joke. I posted an old podcast (from like 2012) on my feed (check my sig) as a TBT. It was a podcast about the scarcity of movie soundtracks like in the 90s, I had about 16 rap songs from 90s movie soundtracks. Soundcloud removed it with the quickness and gave me a strike. I ain't risking that shyt at all anymore. I can't afford to throw $120 down the drain

Listening to an episode now.

I think Cipha being in the Dave Chappelle/white comedy world has changed him for the worst. In one episode they went from talking to him about his social media post sh!tting on Kamala Harris to another social media post cosigning comedians generalizing and talking sh!t about rappers.

Kinda crazy how Rosenberg has grown and is a bit more nuanced in his pushback because I know 5 years ago he'd be screaming at him.

Probably gonna faze out the podcast over time.

Oh you must have been listening to the most recent episode. I stopped it after 5 or 6 minutes.

Ciph’s become a depressing weirdo and a loser and he’s like 50. Shyt is sad. And most of this shyt stems from the fact that Cipha just isn’t funny. He’s not a good comedian, I don’t find him funny off the cuff and he’s half clout chaser (comedy wise) and half bitter old head (music wise) so there’s pretty much no redeeming aspects to his personality.

I actually prefer episodes with just Peter interviewing someone, or just Peter talking to himself or Billy June about random shyt.

I would gladly welcome Ciph just leaving the pod for good.

Latest episode was a sh!tshow.

Cipha made a social media post basically claiming Kamala is a fake industry plant that no one likes (which most people saw as indirectly is bigging up Trump). The episode was dealing with the blow-back he received, including Billy June, who had invited him to do a set on an up-and-coming comedy show, had hit him up and informed him that he was being yanked because his post didn't gel w/ the vibe they were going for.

Rosenberg was level-headed AF ironically, especially since Cipha said in the comments to his controversial post that he doesn't want to be on the podcast anymore. He did both-sides the fvck out of Billy June and make it sound like he should've handled the convo to drop Ciph from the show better, as opposed to Ciph not saying some dumb, clout-chasing sh!t going into the election.

Cipha Sounds somehow managed to come across as bytch-made throughout every twist and turn:
  1. He repeatedly suggests that the post about Kamala wasn't how he feels, it was just things he was doing for engagement
  2. He said he took the post down because he has a contract renewal coming up and it didn't get the enagement he wanted (if you believe that sh!t, stand on it nikka)
  3. At one point he started complaining that Billy June (the equivalent of the intern on the show) had it out for him because he doesn't like him.
  4. He went out of his way to say he was happy he was cut from Billy June's no name podcast so that he could hang out with Dave Chappelle more
  5. He legit made a reference to the idea of him killing himself to get his point across

It was lowkey embarrassing hearing him try to defend himself. It is a laughable level of lacking self-awareness... I think the new-age kids call it an lolcow?

Cipha has become borderline unbearable.

He’s not funny, and he’s too old to act like he does. He’s become embarrassing.

I’d rather listen to the Real Late podcast or Juan Ep with Peter by himself or with Billy than listen to Ciph at this point.

He’s a damn near 50 year old Chappelle groupie who acts like a 25 year old troll streamer and acts like “comedy” is a safe word for being an a$$hole. It’s sad.

He’s sad. He’s become a complete lame, I can’t even think of another word for it.
