Latest episode was a sh!tshow.
Cipha made a social media post basically claiming Kamala is a fake industry plant that no one likes (which most people saw as indirectly is bigging up Trump). The episode was dealing with the blow-back he received, including Billy June, who had invited him to do a set on an up-and-coming comedy show, had hit him up and informed him that he was being yanked because his post didn't gel w/ the vibe they were going for.
Rosenberg was level-headed AF ironically, especially since Cipha said in the comments to his controversial post that he doesn't want to be on the podcast anymore. He did both-sides the fvck out of Billy June and make it sound like he should've handled the convo to drop Ciph from the show better, as opposed to Ciph not saying some dumb, clout-chasing sh!t going into the election.
Cipha Sounds somehow managed to come across as bytch-made throughout every twist and turn:
- He repeatedly suggests that the post about Kamala wasn't how he feels, it was just things he was doing for engagement
- He said he took the post down because he has a contract renewal coming up and it didn't get the enagement he wanted (if you believe that sh!t, stand on it nikka)
- At one point he started complaining that Billy June (the equivalent of the intern on the show) had it out for him because he doesn't like him.
- He went out of his way to say he was happy he was cut from Billy June's no name podcast so that he could hang out with Dave Chappelle more
- He legit made a reference to the idea of him killing himself to get his point across
It was lowkey embarrassing hearing him try to defend himself. It is a laughable level of lacking self-awareness... I think the new-age kids call it an lolcow?
