In entertainment where shyt is going to pop off (whether it be movies, games, tv shows, books etc) what type of setting do you gravitate to the most?
I broke it down into about 8 types of settings/categories with examples, tho far from perfect:
Supernatural (Werewolves, Vampires, Zombies, Demons.. not necessarily horror focused)
Traditional Horror (TX Chainsaw, Halloween, Nightmare on Elm's Street, etc)
Futuristic Sci Fi (Star Wars, Mass Effect, Halo, Avatar etc)
Superhero/Modern Day Sci Fi (Avengers, Batman, Men in Black, etc)
Mythological/Fantasy (Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, 300, etc)
Historical (westerns, tribal, old school mob movies, etc. but no fantasy/mythological spin add ons)
Fighting (old Kung Fu flicks, or from Bruce Lee,Tony Jaa, Jet Li to Goku, Ryu and co)
Modern Day (Die Hard, M:I, Bad Boys, James Bond... no monsters or superheroes or any of that shyt... just guys with guns)
Doesn't Matter (long as its violent)
Now i know some films/whatnot might overlap or incorporate several themes... like with a film like prometheus some might say it was sci-fi moreso than horror or vice versa. In that case i'm asking what theme appealed the most to your interest for checkin for the flick.
