SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) Shreveporter and former NBA player Stromile Swift was arrested by police Thursday night, his second arrest in four months.
Shreveport Police say the 31-year-old Swift was taken to jail on a charge of stalking.
Police got the call just after 9:30 Thursday night. A woman told officers she and Swift got into an argument. When she got in her car and left, she said he followed her.
Police located the woman and Swift in the 3300 block of Ivy Lane. They say officers found a shotgun and handgun inside Swift's car.
Back in February, Shreveport Police arrested Swift on suspicion of aggravated assault and improper telephone communications.
After Swift graduated from Fair Park High School, he played for LSU. In 2000, He was the second overall draft pick in the NBA, taken by the Vancouver Grizzlies. He played for four different teams during his nine years as a pro basketball player.
