In FL Studio you use the Love Filter

It's a low pass filter. Sometimes on the master track. Sometimes on just the drums or a particular instrument track. Sometimes they automate it to fluctuate or slowly open up too.

Yep, Low-Pass filter.
And they automate the cutoff-frequency to make a wah-wah type of effect on synths and samples.
Love Philter in FL is great for it.

Preciate that my guys. I'm going to experiment with it. I'm on mac so can't use the FL plug in specifically but I'm sure I'll find something. If y'all have some examples of your work with it in there and a explanation of how/why you put it where you did that would be dope. Help a mediocre weekend warrior producer get better.
