You ever see a titty suplex friend?:shaq:

Martha

I actually did see one. :heh:

Lucha Underground is the only major promotion that does it effectively. All of the other promotions make the matches too comical.

I never checked them out. I’ve seen a few legit ones. Cage/Tessa had a match out here. It was believable. Tessa landed some hard shots on.

:francis:...........see here's the thing with intergender wrestling.

It's a cocktease literally. The male wrestler usually lowers their difficulty to make the woman look like she got some sort of upper hand because if it was a legit match, it would look like assault and battery on both ends. Even in deathmatch wrestling, the dude tries to hold back a bit due to the following:

  • A potential titty popping out
  • Avoiding legit injury
  • Storytelling purposes
Bottom line, it's mostly miss than hit over here. I rather see a promotion dedicated to women wrestling versus "OMGZ ShE hIT HiM wITh a DdT!?!?@!@"

It’s cool when it makes sense (mostly in LU and certain indie feds), but other than that, unless it’s a manager or somebody interfering, or an authority figure finally getting checked, inter gender full on wrestling shouldn’t happen. It made sense when Chyna and Jarrett did it, and when Lita/Trish were feuding with Y2J and Christian, but this forced “empowerment” trip the WWE seems like they’re about to go on is garbage.

I thought about making this thread a few days back after I read an article about Nia Jax wrestling men and this was before her vs Dean was official. I ain't into it like I said but there certainly are fans of it like cats were in the comments with their intergender dream matches. Brock vs Rousey, Ciampa vs Asuke etc. I just don't like matches where wrestlers show their work, where someone is clearly faster, stronger, and a better worker to have slow down, go for spots they typically don't do to have a competitive match with their opponent to make it somewhat more convincing. I don't even like it when women have to carry lesser women Asuke Vs Carmella, Natalya Vs Kelly Kelly, Anybody vs Alexa Bliss.

It can work but it can't be done often, and it'd have to have a solid build up to the point where the felt the match should happen...the psychology during the match is where it really gets iffy.

In WWE, it really only makes sense [physically] is if it were the cruiserweights for most part. Every other match would have to be booked like a Brock Lesnar match [man dominates makes a mistake then the woman can finally get some offense in] but then it'd get old fast.

Thinking about it, Nia Jax would probably be better off doing intergender matches, less room for error since the men aren't as light as the women she rag dolls.
