What does Marvel have to do to make a good Hulk movie?

What do you feel will be the ingredients for a good Hulk movie? He is the only major member of the Avengers that haven't received the greenlight for a proper series. Hulk needs to be a priority for Marvel studios and not some gimmick to smash everything in someone else's movie.

i liked the ed norton version

i think because the character already has 2 movies out there, marvel wont invest in making one for a while, given that other projects are greenlighted

but assuming that a movie is in the works, they would need to focus on:

• how he developed the ability to control transforming into the hulk
• introducing Namor
• brian banner

I did too but Marvel doesn't want to treat Hulk like the other major characters in the Avengers. Everyone here has seen the schedule for the upcoming Marvel movies. They have no Hulk movies in their plans unless something has changed.

I didn't care for TIH and considered it one of Marvel's lesser films (this was before the Phase 2 films started and I had it just infront of IM2) but late last year, some of my Coli brehs persuaded me to watch it again, and it's a pretty good flick. I'd probably rank it like this:

The Avengers > IM = CA:TWS > CA:TFA > TIH = Thor > IM3 > T:TDW > IM2

It's tainted yes because Ed Norton didn't show up in The Avengers and while Ruffalo is now The Hulk in my eyes, I also thought Ed Norton did a good job as well. Matter of fact, everyone did. That last battle fight is

Namor is (sadly) with Universal anyway. That's the only franchise that they own now since the rights to The Hulk went back to Marvel. If they ever make a sequel, I want The Leader (who they teased in TIH) and Absorbing Man (who they somewhat had in the 2003 Hulk) to be the villains. Forgot to mention that.

The problem with Hulk is finding villains strong enough to challenge him. I'm kinda tired of him fighting military or an army of critters/aliens. We already saw a "hulk" opposite in Abomination. Frankly I wanna see him fight some heroes Wolverine, Spidey, Avengers, Thing. Fukk it throw in Juggs too.

Might just have to throw Hulk in a time machine and have him wreck shop every century.

I think Marvel would have less chances of a new Hulk movie being disappointing than the previous two films just because the Hulk has the Avengers shine to the character now.
Throw in a few cameos of Downey Jr and Jackson and you'd have a hit on your hands.
If I were doing it I would have the solo Hulk movie involve the Leader doing something that makes the Hulk go on a rampage that causes a shytload of damage and at the end of the movie the Avengers decide he is too uncontrollable to leave on his own but don't want to lock him up so they trick him into a spaceship that is supposed to take him to a planet where he can live free without hurting anyone and this leads into the sequel that uses the Planet Hulk storyline.
Then from there the next Avengers movie could be Avengers: World War Hulk.
