He was only, what, 34 when he retired that second time. Do you think Pippen would've stayed/resigned? Perhaps there are obvious reasons with which I'm not familiar but I always wondered.

He was 35 going on 36. Outside of injury I don't see how the Bulls don't win a 4th title in a row if they bring everybody back. That said the way the FO handled everything played big part in everybody not coming back.
