In like a few words or phrases

It's obvious they don't care to pay for licenses to keep most large scale syndicated shows anymore. Pretty much every time some more that they create come in, they push out the old ones. But all that means is that some point, they basically won't have other people's television. They barely keep most movie licenses for long and the movies they produce seem to suck more often than not.

Idk, I know they'll keep a couple mainstays in movies and TV around, but it seems like a bleak future if that's what you came there for

Amazon and Hulu will win in the end. Amazon has too much money and does a bit of everything. Hulu doesn't have to deal with the licensing red tape since they are owned by the television conglomerates.

While Netflix has definitely shifted to producing its own content (TV and movies), there is still value in having deals with others. They have the Disney deal, which I'm sure does well for them. They also have the partnership with CW, bringing the seasons to Netflix shortly after they air.

They have recently talked about not renewing everything and taking bigger swings with their shows, so I don't expect them to solely rely on strictly their own shows anytime soon. They have been smart in branching into other areas, like documentaries and stand-up comedy which is a lane they practically own.

The fact they are so ubiquitous, especially for the younger generation, I see them continuing to do well in the future.

I think Netflix needs cable to do well which is funny considering they are a reason why cable is losing subs. But think bout it. Netflix has created some piff shows no doubt but they still aren't producing top level movies and if cable companies pay a lesser rate per channel then theoretically the channels will take less risks in producing top level content and stations like Disney can start up their own streaming service. So what does Netflix do if they aren't getting Disney content and AMC is producing less content? Those are their bread and butter deals.

they will do fine, but I don't see them being able to drastically increase the revenue because the market is already saturated. which means they will eventually simply start raising the prices instead.

:rudy:

They have some great shows. The problem is they do have too much original content, where much of it looks wack. Seems like they are looking to change that with the recent cancellations and the verbiage they used when they did those
