Nothing at all was compelling during the Evolution run. It was just swaggin and Kliq winning

Although, Trips jobbing out to Batista on the regular during that feud was different at the time. Vince wasn't puttin straps on shyt that he wasn't trusting.

After Austin went batshyt and the Rock went Dwayne, he was like "fukk EVERYONE, PAUL IS ALL I TRUST"

The build was dope as hell in terms of developing Batista's character and showcasing his quiet charisma. It was a slow build and it made Batista into a permanent main event dude. I thought it was booked perfectly.

Considering that both of them wrestled a style that relied on power moves and brawling, the styles meshed well together. Very well booked, very well paced. I'm still impressed to this day.

I thought it was a good feud. Trilltista was over as hell at Mania 21

Honestly, it was probably one of the best character builds the WWE has ever done. Batista was legitimized as THE #1 guy for a while for it and really that build and his final "hugging fat chicks" run was really the only 2 things memorable that Batista did but he started and finished about as strong as you really can

Now, the WrestleMania and Backlash matches weren't good at all (AT ALL), but they redeemed themselves with a great Hell in a Cell match, so I'm almost willing to let THAT slide as well.

One of the very few good things to come from RAW's "Evolution Era."

I also really liked HHH during this feud. His promos were on point and sold the story really well. Put over Batista 100% too.

Funny how you look at how well this feud was done in comparison to the Orton one.
