I always dug the movie. I thought it took some liberties with the original film and put together that made sense for the modern world. The idea that Michael was the right mix of psychopathic personality & a broken home was interesting. I also liked that Michael as a man was this huge brute that was basically made to be a killing machine. Overall it was dope movie to me and I just wished that Jason & Freddy could have got the same sort of reboot.
