I'm not going to even lie - do appreciate how they usually put the lettuce and tomato to the side though. It keeps the bread from getting soggy before I can get it home and eat it.

yooo i used to deconstruct my sandwiches and burgers as a kid , fam thought i was crazy lol
now compare this to how spaghetti looks like all mixed together.sometimes things look more appetizing and fancy like this, doing it with fast food like burgers and hotdogs is pointless though.
i for one am a fan of deconstructed pasta though
