Marie from breaking bad is the most useless character in tv history.
That was their biggest mistake, Doakes should have been a constant thorn in Dexter's side and they should have had Doakes lowkey do research and learn about Dexter's past slowly through the seasons until the final season he figures out what Dexter really was and do everything they did in season 2.at them killing off Doakes and replacing him with that character.
