do you think your country is taking to many in?
do you think undocumented residents should be able to work and vote after a certain amount of years or shipped back?
do you think they are a strain on your local economy etc?

I only believe only in skilled migration and political refugees. Economic migrants such as Messicans and Indians can :camby:

Ship them back. They shouldn't be able to work or vote.

More immigrants :blessed:but they have to learn English (or French in Canada) and have to have a job lined up (ie. skilled worker programs) unless its family of said immigrant who can come later.

open the borders

immigrations laws don't stop terrorists, if they want to do some shyt, they'll do it. even if there is some minor reason to stop skilled workers/people in shyttier countries, conservatives tend to take it further than any sane level of compromise. So if they wanna play hardball and take the stance that there should be a giant wall, I'm gonna take the opposite and say just let 'em in. "What about criminals" well if you legalize soft drugs, you take away 90% of those criminals

fact of the matter is a lot of migrant workers live in shanty towns or in backyard chicken coups and try to avoid detection. country's based on immigrants, stolen land, etc. etc.

ask yourself something: Would you uproot your family, leave all of your friends and familiarity of home to come to a place where people hate you and has almost no safety net? Would you do that if the trip was super dangerous where chances are some people will die or be punished if they are caught? Most people wouldn't. That's why I have no problem with fair immigration laws. Takes tough, determined people to immigrate. Of course there will always be some bad within any group, but not the vast majority. In the case of the US, there's no accident who they let in and stay whether that be legal or illegal. Those politicians talking shyt are just pandering to their base. They knoowwwww better!

I don't like illegal immigrants. Not personally just them "sneaking in.". I'm the product of legal immigrants though.
