maybe 'the man not' by dr tommy curry. main criticisms would be: the inaccurate use of intersectional framework to paint black males as privileged in patriarchy, the erasure of black males as victims, and feminist pathologizing of black men with very little empirical data to back it up. i am not a gender studies or sociology major, so i could be mischaracterizing it to a degree.
outside of that, you would be hard pressed to find anybody speak in a way counter to the current norm.
