Don't know about best overall but a good value are these

They have decent noise cancelation

They work independently so u can charge one and use the other

Good sound and fit

They have that feature where u can hear outside noise while wearing them.

AirPods are mediocre headphones overall. I own the Pros and the only reason I keep them is how well they tie into the Apple ecosystem. That and the call quality / ANC are God tier. The overall sound is meh. On the Pros I have to use Comply foam tips or else they'll fall out. In the end they cost too much to be just alright.

If a person wants the best allrounders these are it

Sony WF-1000XM4 their flaws are they big as hell. I think the call quality could be improved too but they're durable enough to work out in, the ANC is pretty much the best out solid battery life, small enough case to pocket and amazing sound quality on music.

Again if I was forced to pick one of my headphones and abandon all the others I'm going Jabra Elite 7 Active because I skew heavy towards work out headphones.
