In person or over the internet.I was revisiting the Charles"Mask"Lewis Ferrari crash last night..Still has to be one of the most brutal accidents i've seen.
On March 11, 2009, about 1 a.m., Jeffrey Kirby was speeding in his 1977 white Porsche on Jamboree Road in Newport Beach alongside a 2004 red Ferrari driven by Lewis.His Ferrari
360 Challenge Stradale, a race version of the Ferrari 360 Modena collided with the Porsche before hitting a light pole. It is presumed that the two vehicles were traveling alongside one another at high speed, and were most likely engaged in a "street race".
The crash threw the Ferrari’s female passenger onto a dirt embankment. She broke her elbow and suffered multiple bone fractures. Kirby swerved and came to a stop on the road for several seconds before fleeing the scene with a female passenger.
Lewis was left trapped inside the front half of the Ferrari, which had to be dismantled to free him. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to autopsy, Charles was killed by blunt force trauma to the torso and extremities.
I couldn't imagine going out like that brehs..
