they really fukked this up. i mean really. bane v batman coulda been one of the best rivalries ever. the fukkin dualities...but no. they have to put this talia bytch

bruce wayne lived a life of luxury as a child. bane had a horrific childhood.

bruce wayne fell into a cave and was rescued by his father.
bane spent his childhood in a cave-prison and rescued himself

bruce wayne's never killed anyone on purpose
bane caught his first body when he was 8

bruce wayne traveled to a chinese prison to understand the underworld
bane escaped from prison to destroy the world above

that "you adopted the darkness. i was born in it. molded by it. i didnt see the light until i was already a man, and by then, it was nothing to me but blinding" should have been the theme for the entire rivalry/movie.

Wayne's privilege as a child w/ good intentions vs Bane's horrific upbringing with vicious, brutal, yet tactical rage. could have easily been better than the dark knight in my opinion.

I just watched this old 80s movie called The Curse with the Wesley Crusher kid from Star Trek. If that movie was remade with a legit director, it could be an 8 star horror flick.

There was an 80s Punisher movie with Dolph Lundgren. Movie would have been good with a a legit lead actor, but I haven’t seen it in forever. Might not hold up as well.
