Iran, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Somalia etc.

These places will jail and or kill women for being rape victims. I can't for the life of me understand the thinking. If you have strict laws against premarital sex for women that have harsh punishments, OK. I think it's fukked up but it is what it is. They know the risks and they can move accordingly. But for them to NOT have a choice in the matter and be punished like a willing participant is INSANE.


Several tribes in South Africa, Indonesia, Uganda, etc have a rite of passage for boys going into manhood that entails them being circumcised WITHOUT anesthesia and if they cry out in pain they are denied the title of man within the tribe.
