I felt bad getting hyped for the bad guy, I don’t think I’ve seen that in an anime before.

You’d think the roles were reversed with the way it played out.

Once you catch the bug its over. Went from anime > manga to light novels. Havent look back ever since

It's a natural progression. Eventually almost everyone will hit a show that they get hooked on it gets a single season and they want to know what happens next. The options are either abandon the series entirely, wait possibly years and hope another season gets announced, or go read the source and continue the plot.

I'm trying to imagine being anime only with Bleach having the series discontinued and having to wait 5 years in unknown status before a continuation gets announced. Then there are series like Soul Eater or Akame ga Kill. Plot goes off the rails and gets a made up anime original ending. You also got stuff like Chihayafuru (went from 2013-2020 between seasons) and The Devil Is a Part-Timer! (went from 2013-2022 between seasons) where the source for both of those are finished but unsure if either will get the full anime treatment.

At some point the nature of these shows as commercials for the source material becomes annoying. Because what you're watching isn't a stand along product or because it's based on early to mid-days ongoing works everything is uncertain. TBH I wish they'd go with more anime original series not based on some other work but that comes with risk these studios don't want to take. If they make it based on something else there's instant fanbases and proven popularity.

Man they are hard on the homie Black Star but some of that ether he pours on himself. It's always the loudest ones that have to get hit the hardest but on the flip side, the come up usually hits harder that route.

I get it this is one of those projection things where you talk about something you're into but attribute it to somebody else. Can't really say I get the rape fetish but I guess people like all sorts of shyt so more power to you.

I think Takina is better. Chisato is obnoxious and annoying. She needs Takina to balance her out and make her more tolerable. I mean seriously you in gun fights with people using real bullets trying to kill you and you using rubber bullets. That's the kinda stuff that gets you or your partner killed.

I binged the first 7 eps of Lycoris and didn't really feel the need to keep watching tbh. The show is fine but I ain't really engaged

Made in Abyss is the best of the season. Show continues to be a masterpiece

Summertime Render has been able to keep things interesting despite going very long (25 ep season). I thought the middle portion was gonna drag but it truly hasn't. fukking shadows

Engage Kiss and My stepsister is my ex were boring as shyt.

Started watching something Crunchyroll recommended to me based off the stuff I've watched called The Daily Life of the Immortal King. I'm thinking this isn't anime but the first episode was pretty funny. Totally breaks the 4th wall.
