Finished the Tekken anime and enjoyed it as a fan of the franchise. It was very faithful to the fighting styles of the characters to the point that you could recognize exact moves and combos from the game.

The art direction is controversial and for good reason, but I got over that mid way through and just enjoyed it for what it was. The ending sets it up perfectly for a part 2. hopefully that happens and more fighters get introduced.

Dude was a regular ass nerdy looking captain who just so happens to be the the strongest dude in the on the whole team. They've built these captains up for like 300 episode each one of them and it turns out some meak librarian was like 3x stornger than the rest of them? Bullshyt.

They also coincidentially kept the two captains out who they have focused the entire show on looking cool and being strong in Kenpachi and Byakuya,. They can't have Aizen one shotting those two dudes so they just kept them inside Hueco Mundo. Bullshyt

Aizen was legitimately stronger than those Captains and former Captains and that's before you take into account the Hogyoku. His shikai basically makes everyone you named expendable, including Kenpachi and Byakuya. They wouldn't get one shotted like Hitsuguya but they definitely would have gotten their wigs pushed back.

Aizen had been plotting on the throne for well over a century and then he executed flawlessly.
