I watched a Chinese anime by mistake once. I just couldn't get down with the cadence of the language. I toughed through it but god damn was it hard

I don't ever like sounding stereotypical when it comes to othe cultures

but yeah I tried to watch one time and the shyt was so.... jarring.

like nothing but 3, 4 and 5 letter words, all of them starting with a "C", "Ch" or a "Sh". Cha cho shou shi so shia chang.

I always looked at castlevania as a cartoon with high production value, similar with Invincible/Young Justice/Boondocks/Black Dynamite

All anime are cartoons but not all cartoons are anime

Imo part of what makes Ranking of Kings so fire is that it's in this weird in-betweenworld of both styles
