not surprised at all with this dude. if yall remember off flygod is an awesome god he had a skit of the infamous floyd mayweather gucci store moment where tmz asked about whether or not he was trying to stop supporting gucci in light of the racist clothing fiasco. and floyd kept saying i'm about to go into gucci! like fukk that shyt i'm about giving these folks my money for high fashion. that was a cosign from gunn, like word floyd fukk what they talmbout son smh
and it's not like i expect gunn to be chuck d or somebody. i really love his music (though he needs to slow down with the projects goddamn lol) but i think he's a hop, skip, and jump away from being yeezy/weezy/travis scott status. i can feel it in my bones. but have i ever stopped listening to crack music, fireman, or 5% tint? nah.... i just know what they are and don't expect much from them outside of their art. i can love your music to death and be extremely critical of anything i deem problematic in the most objective way possible. case in point? drizzy the blackface duppy who had the nerve to send king push an invoice like he deaded him & then hid behind j prince like a fakkit lmao. still fukked with scorpion in 2018 and love him overall as a rapper though, it is what it is. and gunn needs to stop trying to be a hood kanye, it's obvious & cringe let's keep it a buck
