There was an average of 2 wars per year between nations in Western Europe from 1400-1945, and zero since then. Obviously there are borders changing after WWII, but it's mostly through diplomatic means. I need to study history more, and not just through Age of Empires and Civ scenarios.

Yeah Europe basically was a battlefield for centuries. The EU can be criticized for TONS of things but peace is kind of priceless, and it helped bring that to Europe.

Yeah I was surprised that Poland and Lithuania also were much bigger back then too. Russia's been huge for centuries damn lol

I'd love to see the same for other continents
