Speaking of Cam vs Kam.....he takes a shot at Dipset here, good song too, this got some spins out here in LA. It's off a Sway and Tech compliation...
Maybe so. I'ma let you cook, though. I ain't tryna be petty and distract from the topic at hand. This is an appreciation thread for someone who is overlooked and underrated. The coli introduced me to Kam.Doesn't matter people still wouldn't know what Kam I'm talking about. You giving niiggas on here too much credit.

YepWestside Connection should have included Kam
Yep
Cube wouldnt have that though, he can't take getting outshined
Had the best verse on "Bulworth", with a prime Meth, Prodigy and not-in-his-prime-but-still-nice KRS.
Fred.
What other Kam is there?![]()
I recall getting goosebumps from 'still got love 4 em'
Verse on Color Blind is flames too.
Not really. He wasn't ever signed to real major label just subsidiaries who had distribution deals with majors and back then you wasn't getting no push like that unless you had major dollars behind you.
Fair points. I guess I'm looking at it from a the perspective that no label ever fully got behind him.No he's not "underrated", everybody knows he's a beast.
And like I said, he's had plenty of looks:
- he was on what many call the greatest West Coast album of all-time
- he was joined at the hip with DJ Pooh for many years
- he was on the Friday soundtrack
- Snoop Dogg stayed keepin' him on projects
...but he don't play the game.
- you ain't gonna go far in the West Coast rap game if you on songs dissin' Cube and Dr. Dre
- he been rappin' for more than 20 years and only dropped 4 albums
To paraphrase Jayo Felony: they could give this "push" to him, but what he gonna do with it?
